Programmed is currently seeking reliable and motivated Production Workers and Machine Operators to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Truganina.
These positions offer an immediate start with full training provided. Successful candidates will work in a fast-paced production environment processing and packaging raw beef and pork products.
What's on offer
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Approximately 5:30 AM – 3:50 PM
- Pay Rate: $32.18 per hour
- Full training provided
About your new role
- Working in a temperature-controlled environment (approximately 7°C)
- Handling and processing raw beef and pork products
- Debagging large cuts of beef and pork and transferring products onto production lines
- Operating production machinery (Machine Operator positions)
- General meat processing and packaging duties
- Loading and unloading crates onto production lines
- Using a small hooked knife to safely remove packaging from meat products
- Maintaining production line efficiency and meeting daily production targets
- Following food safety, hygiene, quality, and workplace safety procedures
- General housekeeping and maintaining a clean and organised work area
About you
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, machine operation, or meat processing (preferred)
- Experience operating production machinery (for Machine Operator roles)
- Comfortable working in a cold environment (approximately 7°C)
- Comfortable handling raw beef and pork products
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (must successfully complete an assessment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive manual handling
- Able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment
- Willing to remove jewellery, piercings, fake nails, nail polish, eyelash extensions, and hair extensions before commencing work
- Able to complete pre-employment requirements and mandatory online training
